Hey there!

My name is Kim and I'm a writer, Substance Use Disorder Registered Counselor, and mental health advocate. After building a successful wedding photography business for over 15 years, I decided to change course and pursue a career in substance abuse. After working in direct service I realized I was drawn towards macro level work. I then began working in child welfare policy with the State of California. I am currently working in the Child Trafficking Program Support Unit.
